Retailer Reward and Reminder (RRR)

To implement RRR in rural communities and Eugene/Springfield metro area, a positive reinforcement program designed to support retailers who “do the right thing” and refuse sales to underage youth and remind those who would sell to minors of the legal and health consequences of such sales. Teams of at least one adult and two minors enter retail establishments, attempt to purchase alcohol, tobacco and lottery products, and reward or remind clerks of the law as indicated by clerk actions.
